Renquist moves into post production under Steve Coulter's steady editing hand. Check out the about us page for a full listing of Cast & Crew.
Head on over to IMDB where Irving Renquist, Ghost Hunter is officially listed. The information is not 100% accurate yet (to the best of our knowledge, Brian Wohl ISN'T a wrestler) but it's nice to be there none the less.
Now the long waiting game begins, and updates get less frequent. Keep checking back, however, updates may come at surprising times.

And then we wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer.
As of Saturday, August 5th, 2006, Irving Renquist, Ghost Hunter wrapped principal photography with Director of Episode 8 David B. Grelck lensing not only the final production scene, but the final scene of the episode last bringing an amazing sense of closure to the production. Episode 8 offered some of the most unique challenges of the series including "exotic" locations and one scene that was shot over three different nights in two locations simply to get all the angles.
Then on Sunday, we went back to several locations to pick up some remaining shots and scenes from Episodes 1, 4 and 6.

A delayed update means lots to address. First off is the completion of Episodes 4 & 5 under the expert direction of Executive Producer Mike Noens. These two episodes mark the most ambitious portion of the series, a two part cliffhanger involving a major new character of Dr. Thom Augusta (Sean Colbert). The episode sprawled out from Tuesday through Saturday, and a single scene needs to be picked up, but the shoot went tremendously, with some very intense paranormal activity scenes put to tape.

An even larger shoot began this past Monday as writer/executive producer David B. Grelck stepped into the directors chair for the final episode of the season. The eighth episode has the most characters and the most locations of any episode in the series, taking us from Julia Kelby's house to a small motel on the Fox River. Production on Episode 8 continues tonight through Saturday with the series expected to wrap Saturday evening. (With minor pickups to come)
News from 7/24/06
Production slouches forward, Episode 6 coming and going and another director has wrapped his portion of the series. Steve Coulter finishes up his directing duties with Renquist's sixth episode, another of the quirky ilk filled with guest stars such as Tricia Noens and writer/exec-producer David B. Grelck (see left). Along the way, one of the pivotal scenes from Episode 1 was picked up, as the scene that introduces main characters Dotti (Angela Wascher) and Julia (Erica Schmueck) was shot at Billy's Pancake House, once again doubling for the fictional Green Mill Tavern, last seen in Grelck's Please Wait To Be Seated.
With this episode completed, Renquist production moves forward at its fastest rate with the next two weeks busier than any which came before. The fifth director of the series, Director of Photography/Executive Producer Michael P. Noens steps into the director's shoes for a pivotal two part episode, 4 & 5. Then writer/creator Grelck steps up to direct the season finale next week.

News from 7/16/06
This weekend, the cast and crew of Irving Renquist, Ghost Hunter passed the milestone halfway point. Over half the series has been shot, with only three remaining weeks of principal photography to go. The next three weeks include the last scenes from episode 1, episode 6, the marathon shoot of episodes 4 & 5 in the same weekend as well as the challenge that is the season finale.
Episode 7 is nearly complete with only one scene remaining to be shot. Steve Coulter stepped into the director's chair for the first of his two episodes. The second, Episode 6, shoots next weekend. Episode 7 was a complex one, featuring the first special effects of the series, so movement was slower. Spirits were high, and 98% of the episode is in the can.
News from 7/11/06
Between 7/6 and 7/8, Episode 2 was completed, marking the first time during the production of Irving Renquist, Ghost Hunter that an episode has been completed within the scheduled shooting dates. (Episode 1 ballooned due to number of locations and scenes, Episode 3 had a single scene that needed to be shot the following week.) It also marks the second episode of the production completely in the can.
Pat Pantelis directed with a different style than either of the previous two directors and got to try his hand at several quirky and fun scenes as well as one or two good scares for this early episode, continuing to establish the unusual tone for the series.

Tonight the Irving Renquist cast reads through episodes 4-7, so writer David B. Grelck can put the final polish on them before filming begins. The production jumps ahead this week to Episode 7, a gap of three episodes from the latest shot due to scheduling. Steve Coulter (Fate Twisted Simply) steps into the Director's chair for the first of his two episodes, finishing the following week with Episode 6. Plenty more to come.
News from 7/6/06
More of Episode 1 was completed last Saturday as Bill Colter (Fate Twisted Simply) finished his scene from that episode. This was Bill's first time on set.
This evening, Episode 2 begins production under Renquist's third director Pat Pantelis (Return To Cuba Road.) Pat has spent several days on set with during the last three weeks and looks forward to stepping into the role.

This past Tuesday saw the remaining two scenes from Episode 3, "Goodbye" in the can, bringing in Julia's boyfriend/ex-boyfriend Tim (Doug Bahnick). A full episode has now been complete and show editor Steve Coulter (Fate Twisted Simply) has begun the first rough edit. Expect teaser scenes to show up in the Multimedia Section before too long.
Yesterday, director Nick Thompson reunited with the cast and crew to wrap up the remaining scenes from Episode 1 which will be shot this weekend and culminate on Tuesday the 4th. Scenes shot yesterday include our first look at CNGMTV's version of Cuba Road's White Cemetery. Shooting his first scene tomorrow is Bill Coulter, one of the three leads in Fate Twisted Simply.

Under the direction of Tricia Noens, Episode 3, "Goodbye" began shooting yesterday and is scheduled to wrap on Saturday the 24th with the exception of one or two scenes that will be picked up in the coming weeks. The first time the cast had the opportunity to work with a director other than the one they started this journey with went quite well, and Tricia, who has so far directed only the sketch comedy stage show "The Fancy Pants Flicker Show" (also written by Renquist writer/creator David B. Grelck.) did admirably. Episode 3 is notable for a distinct difference in tone than the rest of the series, and also is the only one that Lonnie (Marc Muszynski) and Dotti (Angela Wascher) don't appear in.
More set photos will appear online as Episode 3's shoot continues. Stay tuned.

Principal photography has officially begun on CNGM Pictures first television show, "Irving Renquist, Ghost Hunter" under the brand new CNGMtv banner. For this microcinema production company based out of Chicago's Northwest Suburb Palatine, this production marks a huge departure from their usual feature film efforts. "Ghost Hunter," written by frequent CNGM writer David B. Grelck (The Leslie Situation), and executive produced by Grelck along with CNGM exec Michael P. Noens (Accidents & Uninvited) tells the story of Irving Renquist (Brian Wohl), a shiftless man in his mid-twenties who longs to be a ghost hunter despite the fact that he's never had an encounter with the supernatural. Along with his partner Julia Kelby (Erica Schmueck) and gadget-man Lonnie Hayden (Marc Muszynski), Irving must come to the aid of a beautiful girl named Dotti (Angela Wascher) who has a ghost, and that may just be the tip of the iceburg.
On June 15th, principal photography began, continuing through the weekend and by Father's Day, the first half of Renquist's pilot episode was in the can under the direction of Graye Horizon's Nick Thompson (Unknown). Next weekend, the production jumps forward in the timeline to lens the third episode of the series with Tricia Noens (The Fancy Pants Flicker Show) directing before returning to episode one the following week.
Also from this past weekend, the all important character shots were taken by still photographer David B. Grelck of WDBG Productions, Inc. who then assembled the poster you see to the left.
And finally on 6/19, this official site went LIVE.
